Congregation Yehuda Moshe of Lincolnwood, Illinois was founded in 1964 by Rabbi Oscar Z. Fasman, who worked tirelessly for the synagogue until his retirement in 1998. He attracted local residents to the synagogue and watched the synagogue grow - both in numbers and in spirit - during his 34 years as the spiritual leader. Upon Rabbi Fasman’s retirement, the congregation appointed his protégé, Rabbi Joel Gutstein to be their spiritual leader. Rabbi Gutstein is available for the needs of the congregation at almost all hours of the day and night.
The synagogue holds services every morning and every afternoon throughout the year. It is conviently located just off of the Edens Expressway at Touhy Avenue, allowing people passing by to catch a minyan on their way to and from work.
In addition to the daily services, the synagogue also has programming and classes throughout the year for members of the synagogue and the community at-large. Stop by and visit our synagogue at your convenience. Just call us at 847-673-5870 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
