Sponsor a Kiddush on Shabbos morning in honor of a special occasion or for the yahrzeit of a loved one. Kiddush menus and prices are available from the Sisterhood.
$50 standard / $100 deluxe
Shabbos afternoon in shul between Mincha and Maariv; one of the three obligatory meals, this is often sponsored for the yahrzeit of a loved one or in honor of a special occasion. A standard Seuda Shlishis includes challah rolls, pop, cake, and salads. A deluxe Seuda Shlishis adds lox and parve cream cheese.
This takes place on Sunday morning after Shacharis. There is a breakfast of bagels, lox, cream cheese and more, followed by a Torah study session with the Rabbi.
$30 a week / $120 a month / $1300 a year
Available in the shul for Shabbos, It contains shul information such as times for services and classes, upcoming events, mazel tov listings and a Jewish history section.
$20 a day / $125 a week / $500 a month / $5000 a year
Torah study is the best thing one can do for another person – either in honor or memory (e.g. for a birthday or a yahrzeit). The merit of the Torah study is credited to the donor and to the person in whose honor or memory that it is learned.
$20 a class / $75 a month / $750 a year
$180 per leaf
There are a number of class options from which to select:
a. Halacha class given by the Rabbi which meets after Kiddush on Shabbos.
b. Maharal class given by Dr. Koenigsberg before Mincha on Shabbos.
c. Gemara class given by the Rabbi before Mincha on Shabbos.
d. Pirkei Avos class given by Dr. Koenigsberg (summer only).
e. Rambam class given by Dr. Lipshitz (summer only).
$250 per plaque
Buy a plaque in memory of a loved one. The names of those on the memorial boards are read in shul with the “Maleh” – the memorial prayer, on a Shabbos preceding the yahrzeit.
